When I watch movies at home I almost always use that time to paint my nails as well…that way they dry as I’m entertained by the film, otherwise I get impatient & smudge them! So I’m thinking that this weekend while I curl up to watch I should try out one of these techniques from Emily at Cupcakes & Cashmere.

I love that Emily’s nails are pretty short…just like mine (I cannot for the life of me grow long nails without chipping them). I also love that these two simple nail types are adorable without being too ostentatious!
Sometimes I wish I had help getting ready in the morning (especially on Mondays). Yes, please blow-dry & style my hair (usually it’s still wet & pulled back when I leave for work). Yes, please apply make-up to make me look fresh & airbrushed (instead of accidentally putting mascara only on one eye, whoops). Yes, please give me a manicure (chipped nails tend to be my trademark, unfortunately). If only…
